In 1970, Cary Home changed from primarily an orphanage, to a group home environment. In 1990, the home changed again, this time emerging as a residential treatment center for troubled adolescents. Today Cary Home for Children offers both residential and non-residential care and treatment services for abused, neglected, emotionally disturbed and deliquent youth.

The treatment staff at Cary Home is comprised of trained staff and licensed professional clinicians who's aim is to provide youth in treatment at the facility with the support and the skills necessary to eliminate violence, harmful choices, and substance abuse from their lives.
